Creative Weddings and Occasions

From the first time I met this wonderful couple, it was evident how much they loved each other. Every moment of their wedding was planned with great thought and care to create a whimsical celebration that was special and representative of the two of them! This past August we had the pleasure to work with a great couple on their wedding day celebration. SueAnne's ancestory is Chinese, while Allan's heritage is Croatian. Kathy & Shawn had rented the Foothills Centennial Centre in Okotoks for their wedding reception. While a great-sized building, they worried about the cavernous white walls and cement floor. It was up to transform the room into an elegant atmosphere for their guests to walk into and enjoy for the remainder of the eveving.Lighting would play a critical role. Thunderstorms forced the ceremony inside, but nothing could hide the smile on the bride's face as she married her handsome groom at the Calgary Zoo in July, 2010. It was a fabulous day with lots of special personal and heartfelt touches! The strong sense of family and the love shared was felt in almost everything that happened during the day - exactly what a wedding should be! Penny and Pete got married at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Calgary, Alberta on June 19th, 2010, followed by their reception at the Glencoe Club. It was a wonderful day, rich in Greek tradition full of family and friends! Even the sun came out for this special day! Opa!!!

Lisa and Kent recently tied the knot at the Marriott Waikoloa in May, 2010. Hawaiian culture and tradtions were incorporated into the celebration, including a luau for the wedding reception. Click on the photo to see more!

Kristin and Colin had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on May 12th, 2010 at a wonderful little boutique hotel near the town of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. Click on the photo to see more!

Kerry and Brad married at the Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica on April 20th, 2010. The weeklong celebration turned into one big party with friends and family coming from all over Canada. Click on the link above to see more photos and hear about their big day!

Wedding Fair 2010 was held at the BMO Centre at the Stampede Grounds in Calgary. It was a fabulous opportunity for us to meet lots of new couples getting married in the next little while. We really tried to showcase some of the decor options available, including some new ideas for centerpieces and lines. Come and take a closer look!

Jeff and Trisha recently got married on October 10th, 2009 at a beautiful rural location just south of Calgary. Although the weather was chilly, the wedding itself was wonderful. Come take a look at some of the special moments throughout the day!
